Wird häufig in Antriebswellen, Kurbelwellen und Hydraulikzylindern verwendet, bei denen eine rotierende Welle mit Öl oder Fett geschmiert wird. NBR ist gut für Anwendungen geeignet, bei denen die Öldichtung Beständigkeit gegen Schmieröle, Hydraulikflüssigkeiten und Fett erfordert.
